14.2hh chestnut trotter cross mare

I think she will always remain one of the best horses I ever rode, even though she was never mine. Pippa belonged to one of my amazing trainers. There was nothing we couldn’t try together and she rode like she was floating. She may have only had 2 gears (fast and stop) but she eventually decided trotting was ok too and we competed successfully at dressage. I even rode my first international competition with her.

As a final touch of joy – I also got to be the first person to sit on her son.
